The tree planted between the two buildings is a <strong>Flowering Pear<\/strong> (<em>Pyrus Calleryana Chanticleer<\/em>) and a third &#8211; an <strong>Oak<\/strong> has been planted beyond the football pitch.<\/p>\n<p>Really helpful advice was received from the <span style=\"color: #0000ff;\"><strong>North Dorset Tree Officer<\/strong><\/span> <strong><span style=\"color: #008000;\">Sandie Saunders<\/span><\/strong>, our resident arboricultural expert <strong><span style=\"color: #008000;\">Peter Palmer<\/span><\/strong> supervised and <strong><span style=\"color: #008000;\">Mark Farwell<\/span><\/strong> generously provided a digger to make the holes and carry the heavier trees.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Three trees were paid for from the collection taken at Jocelyn Russell&#8216;s 100th birthday party and replace the copper beech Jocelyn had planted some years ago that was removed to make way for the new Hall.
