Gardening Club 60s Evening

Stourpaine Village Show Saturday 08 September 2012

A very successful show. We had 275 entries in total excluding the children’s competition which took place, on site, in the afternoon. The committee would like to thank all exhibitors who helped to make the show such a success, especially those entering for the first time, and visitors who came between 2-4pm. We hope to see you all next year! Despite the poor crops we are all talking about, we had some excellent entries. The flower and vegetable sections were plentiful. If anything was not of the usual standard it was the fruit section which was not as good as previous years. Thank you and well done to everyone who entered as we raised just over £100 for club funds.
