Stourpaine Summer Fête

-

Sunday 30 June 2013

noon until four

The Stourpaine Summer Fête was blessed with the most glorious weather of the year. There were a wide range of events and activities for all the family: children’s games, coconut shy, duck race, ferret and terrier racing, penalty shootout, skittles, tug of war, to name but a few. We also had stalls selling books, bric-a-brac, cakes, plants, etc. plus an impromptu dog show including the most handsome dog, prettiest bitch, owner and dog with the best six legs, waggiest tail and the dog most like their owner. In addition there will be a display of steam tractors, and you will be able to have a close look at these magnificent machines. Visitors are also invited to bring and show their vintage/classic vehicles.
